Materials
FISHCULVERT is a manufactured stream bed that facilitates the passage of fish through culverts, over obstacles including perched culverts and small dams and up steep slopes.  Flow velocity is slowed down to critical levels for fish passage and a series of deep, watertight resting pools are created. FISHCULVERT is available as a stand-alone flume for perched culverts and small dam by-pass, as an invert liner for over steep, or deteriorated culverts or as the invert component of a new structural plate corrugated steel pipe culvert. Fishculverts are made of welded CANADIAN steel that is co-polymer coated after fabrication. All components conform to CSA G401-14.

Mounting
A Universal Mounting Bracket securely attaches the Fishculvert to Perched Culverts , Concrete Dams and Stop Logs.

Drawings
Custom designs are available for various slopes, pipe sizes, lengths and flow volumes.

Installation
A Standard Fishculvert Flume can often be installed by a volunteer crew in a few hours, with little disruption of the stream.
